TES 53 – Cut Off: The Indian Army has released the cut-off marks for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES 53) course commencing in July 2025. The Indian Army has established a cut-off based on the JEE (Main) Common Rank List (CRL) for shortlisting candidates for the TES-53 course. 

The official cut-off for TES 53 – Cut Off is set at a JEE (Main) CRL rank of 3,50,000. This means that candidates with a JEE CRL rank of 3,50,000 or better are eligible for the next phase of selection.

Selection Process for TES 53

The selection process for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES-53) is a multi-staged procedure. Here’s a brief outlook on what to expect if you’ve met the TES 53 – Cut Off:

  1. Initial Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on the JEE (Main) CRL cut-off.
  2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called to appear for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which is a comprehensive assessment spanning several days with psychological, physical, and group tasks.
  3. Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify in the SSB Interview must undergo a rigorous medical examination.
  4. Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on candidate’s performance in the SSB.
  5. Training: Selected candidates will undergo basic military training and technical training before being commissioned into the Indian Army.
